Israel Plans to Use Cypriot Ships for Repatriation of Its Citizens
Israel is planning to use ships from Greece and Cyprus to help Israelis stranded abroad return home amid a series of flight cancellations due to a potential Iranian attack.
According to reports from Channel 12 and the Times of Israel, Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev has instructed her department to make these arrangements.
This plan supplements the use of military Hercules aircraft already scheduled for the repatriation of Israelis.
"Israelis currently abroad who wish to use this service are asked to contact the Israeli embassy in their country of residence or call the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hotline. They will receive necessary information regarding registration, departure times, and departure ports," stated the Ministry of Transport.
