Cyprus presents its song for Eurovision 2026: the premiere of JALLA takes place today

Cyprus officially begins its journey at Eurovision 2026 today, Sunday, February 8. The artist representing the country, Antigoni Buxton, will present the contest song “JALLA” for the first time.
The full official music video will premiere during the evening news broadcast on RIK1 at 20:00. This will be the first public presentation of the song with which Cyprus will compete in Vienna in May.
Shortly before the release, a teaser of the video was published, showing Antigoni Buxton lying in the back of a pickup truck surrounded by oranges — a frame that sets the visual aesthetic of the upcoming performance. The television premiere officially starts the countdown to the international song contest.
Immediately after the TV broadcast, at 21:00, the song will be released:
- on the official Eurovision YouTube channel
- on the website rik.cy
- on all major music streaming platforms
An international team of songwriters worked on the track. Antigoni Buxton is a co-author of the song together with Connor Mullally-Knight, Trey Qua, Claydee Lupa, Paris Kalpos, Charalambos Kallonás and Dimitris Nikolaou.
