Geroskipou Municipality mandates landowners to clear plots by April 26
Geroskipou Municipality has called on landowners to clear their properties of dry grass and debris by April 26, 2026.
This applies to plots located in the areas of Geroskipou, Konia, Timi, Koloni, Agia Marinouda, and Acheleia. The authorities emphasized that the responsibility for the condition of the land lies entirely with the owners—even if the waste on the plot was dumped by third parties.
If the territories are not cleaned up by the established deadline, the municipality will carry out the cleaning independently. Following this, owners will be invoiced for the work performed.
The cost will be calculated based on the volume and type of materials removed, with a minimum charge of 90 euros per plot.
The municipality noted that this announcement serves as the official notification for all landowners in the specified areas.
For additional information, residents can contact the Health and Sanitation Department of Geroskipou Municipality at 26 960863 and 26 961141 during working days.
