At Auto China 2024 in Beijing, cars of the future and nearly 300 electric cars will be presented
The 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Auto China 2024, has kicked off in Beijing. China is hosting this significant exhibition for the first time as a leader in the global automotive industry - by the end of 2023, the country became the world's leading exporter of automobiles.
Within the framework of the international automotive forum, over 100 new car models from around the world will be presented, including those from China, Japan, the USA, Germany, and other countries. In total, visitors to the exhibition will be able to see 117 latest models from leading global manufacturers.
In particular, Auto China 2024 will be attended by renowned brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Tesla, BMW, Ford, General Motors, Honda, and Toyota. Exhibits from premium and luxury manufacturers such as Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce will also be showcased.
Additionally, visitors will be introduced to concept cars for the first time - a total of 41 prototype models of future cars.
However, the main trend of this year's exhibition is the green agenda and cars powered by new energy sources. Approximately 280 models of electric cars will be presented at the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, including the highly popular electric sedan SU7 from Huawei.
It is worth noting that the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Auto China 2024, is being held in two exhibition centers covering an area of 220 thousand square meters and will last until May 4.
