High Pressure Returns to Cyprus: Weather Forecast for October 8
According to the Republic of Cyprus Department of Meteorology, a weak high-pressure system will begin to influence the region on Tuesday, October 8. The weather is expected to be mostly clear during the first half of the day, though some areas may see increased cloudiness.
The meteorological service forecasts daytime temperatures to reach around 33°C in inland areas, 28°C along the western and northern coasts, 30°C on the southern and eastern coasts, and 23°C in the mountains.
By evening, the weather will remain mostly clear, though low clouds may increase in certain areas. Late at night and into the early morning, light fog may form, especially inland and in the eastern parts of the island. Overnight, temperatures will drop to 19°C in the inland areas and coastal regions, and down to 14°C in the mountains.
For the next few days, the weather is expected to stay mostly clear, with occasional increases in localized cloud cover.
Temperatures are expected to gradually decrease by Friday, nearing the seasonal average.
