On March 22, clear weather with light rain is expected in Cyprus

According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Friday, March 22, the region will still be affected by weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be mostly clear, but after noon, locally increased cloudiness is expected, which may bring light rain in the southeast.

According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature during the day will reach up to 20°C in the inland areas and on the coasts, and up to 9°C in the mountainous regions.

By evening, the weather on most of the island will be mainly clear, but in some places, increased cloudiness is expected, which may lead to isolated rain in the west and north.

The air temperature will drop to about 7°C in the inland areas, to 9 degrees on the coast, and to 1°C in the mountainous regions, where local frosts are expected.

It is expected that on Saturday the temperature will decrease slightly, especially on the coasts, but will remain close to seasonal norms. However, by Monday, it will gradually rise above the average climatic values.
