On April 29th, sunny weather with rain in the mountains and dust in the air is expected in Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, April 29th, the region is affected by weak low pressure. Dust remains in the atmosphere, the concentration of which will significantly increase in the coming days.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly sunny. It is expected that clouds, which will appear in the second half of the day, will bring isolated rain or thunderstorms in the mountains and possibly in the inland areas.

According to the meteorological forecast, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 33°C in the inland areas, up to 29°C on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, up to 25°C on the western coast, and up to 22°C in the mountainous regions.

By evening, the weather will be mainly clear, with later expected localized cloud increase, leading to light rain, mainly on the northern coast. The air temperature will drop to 15°C inland, on the western and northern coasts, to 17°C on the southern and eastern coasts, and to 11°C in the mountainous regions.

In the coming days, brief showers and thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous regions of Cyprus.
