In Cyprus, a 50-year-old man died at the wheel of his car
A 50-year-old man was found dead in his car at the intersection of the Pyrgos and Kornos roads. The deceased has already been identified. The police stated that his death most likely occurred due to natural causes.
As reported by the police press service, the car with the deceased driver at the wheel was discovered around 6:30 in the morning by passing drivers at the Pyrgos-Kornos intersection. The deceased man was identified as Stavros Stavrou, a resident of Limassol.
According to the information available at the moment, the deceased man was driving his car to Larnaca. For unknown reasons, the car veered off the road and collided with a fence, resulting in minor damage to the front of the vehicle.
Initial examinations of the body and the scene indicated that the death most likely occurred due to natural causes, rather than as a result of an accident.
