Sunny Weather with High Clouds Expected in the Mountains of Cyprus on August 6
According to the Meteorology Department of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, August 6, the region will be influenced by seasonal low pressure.
The weather will be predominantly sunny in the first half of the day. However, in the second half, there will be increased cloudiness in some mountainous areas. The wind will primarily blow from the southwest to the northwest, ranging from light to moderate.
The meteorological service forecasts that today, temperatures will rise to 39°C in the interior regions, up to 36°C on the northern coast, around 32°C on the western and southwestern coasts, up to 34°C on other coastal areas, and up to 31°C in the mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will be mainly clear, but there will be increased low cloudiness in some coastal areas. Later, along the southern and eastern coasts and inland, local light fog may form. The air temperature will drop to 22°C in the interior regions, to 23°C on the coasts, and to 21°C in the mountainous areas.
In the coming days, the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny, although there will be increased cloudiness in the mountains in the second half of the day. Significant temperature changes are not expected, and it will remain slightly above the average climatic values.
