Six-Year-Old Child Forgotten on Bus After Excursion in Cyprus
The Larnaca police are investigating an incident involving a six-year-old boy who was allegedly left on a school bus for an hour and a half during extreme heat.
According to the newspaper Philenews, the incident occurred on Wednesday morning when a summer school organized a trip for its students.
Sources in the police reported to the publication that the children returned to school around 2:30 PM. However, when the boy's parents arrived to pick him up at 4:00 PM, they could not find their son.
After further searching, the child was found inside the locked bus, where he had apparently fallen asleep.
Although the child was unharmed, his parents reported the incident to the police and the Ministry of Education.
The police are urging all parties involved to cooperate with the Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department in investigating the circumstances of this incident.
