On March 6th, Cyprus is expected to have cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms
According to the Republic of Cyprus Meteorology Department, on Wednesday, March 6th, the region is affected by weak low pressure. Meteorologists predict cloudy weather with rain and thunderstorms.
Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with local showers and brief thunderstorms expected in the west and mountains, and isolated showers and thunderstorms in other regions. The wind will be southwest and northwest, moderate to strong.
According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature today will reach up to 19°C in the inland regions and on the west coast, up to 22°C on the southeast coast, up to 20°C on the rest of the coasts, and down to 9°C in mountainous areas.
By evening, it will be predominantly cloudy in the west and north, with scattered showers expected, while in other regions the weather will be predominantly sunny.
The air temperature will drop to about 8°C inland, 13°C on the west coast, 10°C on the rest of the coast, and 3°C in mountainous areas, where frost may form in some places.
It is expected that over the next three days, the temperature will not change significantly, remaining close to average climatic values and slightly above them.
