On March 7th in Cyprus, variable cloudiness with rain and thunderstorms is expected
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, March 7th, the region is influenced by weak low pressure. Meteorologists promise variable cloudiness with rain and thunderstorms.
Today in the first half of the day, variable cloudiness and rain are expected, and in the second half of the day, thunderstorms are possible, mainly in the mountains, inland areas, south, and east of the island. The wind will blow from the southwest to the northwest, from light to moderate. According to the meteorological service forecast, the air temperature during the day will reach up to 21°C on the coast and up to 10°C in mountainous areas.
By evening, the weather will be mainly clear, but in some places, there will be increased low cloudiness.
The air temperature will drop to around 7°C in inland areas, to 12°C on the west coast, to 10 degrees on the rest of the coast, and to 2°C in mountainous areas, where frosts may occur in some places.
It is expected that for the next three days, the temperature will not change significantly, remaining close to the average climatic values and slightly above them.
In the coming days, the air temperature will fluctuate at the same levels, which are slightly above the average climatic indicators.
