According to a statement, searches took place at a property owned by a 42-year-old Greek national. In total, 1,170 pieces of clothing featuring well-known brand logos, along with 122 professional power tools from popular brands, were discovered.

The counterfeit goods, which were being sold to mislead consumers into believing they were genuine, have been confiscated. All items will remain in the authorities’ possession until they are destroyed, pending further investigation by the Customs Department.

The Customs Department has issued a warning to the public to be extra cautious when purchasing goods that may violate intellectual property rights, especially electrical devices, as these products pose a significant risk of accidents or even electric shocks.
