Earthquake Occurred in Cyprus Last Night
An earthquake occurred in Cyprus last night. The tremors were recorded in the vicinity of Paphos and Limassol.
According to media reports, the incident happened at around 23:56 the previous evening. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported that the magnitude of the tremors was 3.2 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 27 kilometers from Paphos at a depth of about 9.5 kilometers. However, it was felt over a wide area, including Limassol. The incident caused mild panic among the local population. There are no reports of casualties or damage as a result of the incident.
