Help and Support for Registration
Parents or guardians facing difficulties with registration or accessing the CY Login system can contact Citizen Service Centers for assistance. They can also reach out directly to the Ministry’s support line at 22558618 or consult their child’s school for further guidance.
Educational Districts and School Assignments
The Ministry has published updated educational districts for the 2025-2026 academic year. These districts are available on the Ministry’s website to help parents confirm the residential address required for school registration. The information can be accessed here:
http://www.moec.gov.cy/dde/ekpayeftikes_perifereies_2025_26.html.
The eDEA system automatically assigns students to the appropriate school within their designated district based on their residential address.
Exceptions for Siblings
Students are typically enrolled in the school within their educational district. However, exceptions apply to families with older siblings already attending grades 1-5 in a different school. In these cases, parents or guardians should contact the school where the older sibling is enrolled to facilitate the enrollment of their first-grader without going through the standard procedure.
Preschool Attendance Confirmation
At the start of the first grade in September 2025, parents will need to provide an official attendance report verifying that their child attended a public, community, or registered private preschool.
A list of registered public and private preschools can be found on the Ministry’s website:
http://www.moec.gov.cy/dde/katalogoi_sxoleion.html.
