One of the stolen sculptures from heroes' monument found in Cyprus
Cyprus police have discovered one of the four bronze sculptures previously stolen from the heroes' monument in Germasogeia (Limassol).
As part of the investigation, a 36-year-old man suspected of involvement in the theft has been detained. The sculpture was found during police operations related to the case.
The theft occurred earlier and caused a significant public outcry, as it involved part of a memorial dedicated to heroes.
The investigation is ongoing, as police establish the circumstances of the incident and search for the remaining missing elements of the monument.
