Easter Opening Hours for Shops and Banks Announced in Cyprus
The official schedule for shop and bank opening hours over the Easter holiday has been released in Cyprus. As expected, most shops and financial institutions will be closed on Easter Sunday.
According to the announcement, on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, supermarkets, retail stores, and shopping malls will be open until 6:00 PM. On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, all shops and supermarkets, including those in malls, will remain closed.
However, restaurants, cafés, and cinemas located inside malls will remain open. Additionally, some bakeries and kiosks will be operating on Easter Sunday and Monday.
Banks will observe a longer holiday, closing on Good Friday and reopening on Wednesday. Supermarkets will reopen on Tuesday.
As a reminder, Easter Sunday this year falls on April 20, and Cyprus is currently in the midst of Holy Week.
