In Cyprus, a 73-year-old victim of a traffic accident passed away in the hospital
The number of casualties from road accidents in Cyprus has increased: a 73-year-old woman, injured in a traffic accident in early April, passed away in the hospital.
According to the police press service, the accident in question occurred on April 2nd around 11:30. A 64-year-old driver hit a female pedestrian on Zenonos Kition Avenue in Livadia.
The victim, named Crystal Erotocritou, was initially taken to a general hospital in Larnaca and then transferred to a medical facility in Nicosia for further treatment. Late yesterday evening, the traffic accident victim succumbed to her injuries.
The Oroklini Police Station continues the investigation into the fatal accident.
