Escape from Psychiatric Hospital in Cyprus
On Wednesday evening, two patients escaped from the Athalassa Psychiatric Hospital in Cyprus. The individuals were swiftly apprehended.
According to police, the escapees, aged 22 and 27, managed to flee the facility and steal a car before heading toward Paphos.
The escapees were located and safely returned to the psychiatric hospital, thanks to the cooperation of their families, who worked closely with the police.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of the escape and how the vehicle was stolen.
