Unusual road signs bearing the phrase "British Genocide Base" have been spotted on roads leading to British military bases in Akrotiri, Cyprus. It is believed that these signs were put up by pro-Palestinian activists, and photos of the signs have been circulating on social media.

According to the Philenews newspaper, a campaign called "UK-USA: Bases Off Cyprus" is currently being held across Cyprus. The campaign's press release emphasizes the goal of "exposing how British bases are used as instruments of oppression and war."

The statement further reads:
"The ongoing use of Cyprus' territory for aggressive military actions highlights the urgent need to decolonize these bases."
