Permanent Police Kiosks to Be Installed Along Larnaca Waterfront
The Larnaca waterfront will soon benefit from a permanent police presence, with an information kiosk and foot patrol officers designed to curb crime and enhance public safety.
The new police kiosk, set to be located on the bustling Finikoudes Promenade, will be staffed by officers prepared to offer assistance and information to the public.
This decision was reached during a meeting at the Nicosia Police Headquarters between Larnaca Mayor Andreas Vyras and Police Chief Themistos Arnaoutis, following recent public disturbances on this popular coastal area.
Mayor Vyras emphasized the urgent need for action to restore safety in the region.
A follow-up meeting will be held to coordinate efforts among all relevant parties, including representatives from the Ministries of Social Welfare and Migration.
