A shoe with a severed foot was found on the beach in Paphos
A disturbing discovery was made on one of the city's beaches in Paphos, Cyprus. A local resident found a severed human limb.
According to the police press service, the incident occurred on Sunday, May 19th, around 3:30 PM on Lara Beach in Paphos. A citizen who had come to swim discovered a right shoe with a human foot inside, severed at the ankle.
Immediately after finding the foot still in the shoe, the man reported the discovery to the Peyia police station and provided police officers with the exact location where the foot was found.
Forensic experts and anthropologists were informed of the discovery. The investigation of the case began this morning.
