Gun Discovered on Paphos Beach
A tourist discovered a gun on the sea floor while swimming at a beach in Paphos. The weapon has been sent for forensic examination.
According to the police press office, the incident occurred last evening around 8:00 PM at a beach near Geroskipou in Paphos. A beachgoer noticed the gun lying about two meters from the shore while swimming.
The swimmer retrieved the object from the seabed and contacted the police. Law enforcement officers inspected the scene and sent the weapon for examination. Preliminary findings suggest that the gun had been on the sea floor for an extended period.
