Nighttime Roadwork Starts on Nicosia - Limassol Highway
Nighttime roadwork has begun on the Nicosia - Limassol highway as of last evening and will continue until Thursday, August 29.
According to the Department of Transport, the roadwork will occur from Monday, August 26, to Thursday, August 29, between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM each day.
The work will be carried out on the Nicosia - Limassol highway and the Limassol Bypass, specifically from the Moni intersection to the New Limassol Hospital intersection, in both directions.
The purpose of the work is to replace safety barriers. During this period, a 200-meter stretch of the highway will be partially closed, and traffic will be redirected to the adjacent lane.
The police urge drivers to exercise caution, adhere to speed limits, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and follow the temporary road markings in the work zone.
