The number of civil servants has increased in Southern Cyprus
The number of civil servants in Southern Cyprus has risen to 55,305 people.
According to data published yesterday by the Greek Cypriot Statistical Service, the number of civil servants increased by 0.9 percent in May this year compared to May last year.
The number of public sector employees grew by 479 people, with 0.1 percent of this increase attributed to civil servants and 3.3 percent to teachers. It was also reported that the number of civil servants working in security forces decreased by 0.8 percent.
