Dates Announced for Limassol Wine Festival
The annual Limassol Wine Festival will be held this year from September 28 to October 6. This will mark the 63rd edition of the festival.
The traditional event, taking place in the Limassol Municipal Gardens, will showcase dozens of local wine varieties and regional culinary specialties. Attendees can also enjoy a range of cultural activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and folk celebrations. The festival welcomes both locals and tourists of all ages.
In preparation for the festival, the Limassol Municipality is inviting proposals for musical, theatrical, and folk performances to be featured during the event.
The cultural program typically includes concerts and theater productions at the Marios Tokas Municipal Garden Theatre, performances by small ensembles in front of the large statue of the Cypriot man (Vrakas), and musical acts in local restaurants.
Proposals for multimedia shows, art workshops, and children's activities that reflect the festival’s theme and honor Greek and Cypriot music and theater are also encouraged.
The deadline for submissions is August 2. For more information, contact 25-745919 or email [email protected].
