Nikos Christodoulides spoke in London about the "three pillars of attracting investments to Cyprus"
The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, held a closed meeting with investors, fund managers, and entrepreneurs in London. The Cypriot leader presented to businessmen the “three pillars of the government's economic strategy for attracting investments”.
“In the first year of governance, we were guided by three pillars, namely financial discipline and responsibility, bold and consistent reforms, and a stable and healthy financial sector,” said Nikos Christodoulides in his opening remarks at the event held at the Supreme Commission of the Republic in the United Kingdom, organized by the “Cypriots in the City” community.
The event was opened by the newly appointed Supreme Commissioner in London, Kyriakos Kyros, and the head of the “Cypriots in the City” organization, Fanos Theophanous.
The President of Cyprus also emphasized the government's efforts to strengthen the stability and competitiveness of the Cypriot economy. The head of Cyprus expressed satisfaction that the diaspora in the second and third generations, as well as professionals from Cyprus, are at the helm of financial sector companies in London.
In the evening, Nikos Christodoulides also attended a dinner dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the “Brotherhood of Cypriots-Greeks”, the oldest Cypriot association in the United Kingdom. During the dinner, the president was officially appointed as the patron of the organization.
