Low Pressure Subsides: Cyprus Weather for September 12
According to the Meteorological Department of the Republic of Cyprus, the low-pressure system is gradually weakening on Thursday, September 12, and a weak high-pressure system will begin to influence the region.
The morning will be mostly clear, but by the afternoon, clouds are expected to form, bringing isolated showers in the mountains and the eastern part of the island.
The weather service predicts that daytime temperatures will reach up to 36°C in inland areas, 31°C along the western and northern coasts, around 33°C on other coastal regions, and 27°C in the mountains.
By evening and into the night, the weather will be temporarily cloudy, mainly in the west and north.
Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop to 21°C in the inland areas and on the northern and southern coasts, 23°C on other coastal regions, and 16°C in the mountains.
In the coming days, the weather is expected to remain mostly sunny, though there may be occasional periods of increased cloudiness.
On Friday, temperatures will drop slightly and remain steady through Sunday, staying close to the average climatological values.
