Night maintenance on Limassol — Nicosia highway: partial closures and reversed traffic

The Department of Public Works announced the start of night works for periodic road surface maintenance on the Limassol — Nicosia highway between Mouttagiaka and Parekklisia, heading towards Nicosia. The works will start on Wednesday, September 24.

They will take place daily until October 2, except Fridays, weekends, and the public holiday on October 1, between 20:00 and 05:30 the following day.

During the works, both lanes towards Nicosia will be partially closed along a section of about 3 km. Traffic will be directed to the opposite side, which will operate in two-way mode.

The Department apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience and asks drivers to be patient, follow temporary road markings, and obey Police instructions. It is recommended to plan trips in advance and consider possible delays on this section of the highway.
