Nighttime fire at a car dealership in the Paphos area

During the night, a major fire broke out at a car dealership in the Mesoyi area (Paphos district). The fire started at around 02:58, and firefighting crews from the Paphos Fire Station promptly arrived at the scene.
According to the fire service, four cars and three electric golf carts were seriously damaged by the fire. In addition, due to heavy smoke and high temperatures, another six cars, one jet ski, eleven motorcycles, and the upper floor of the dealership building sustained damage.
Two fire engines, water hoses, and five breathing apparatuses were deployed to extinguish the fire. The blaze was successfully localized and brought fully under control.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown — an investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances and source of the ignition. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
