Cloudy with rain and thunderstorms: Weather in Cyprus on January 2nd

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, January 2nd, the region is affected by weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with isolated showers or even thunderstorms expected.

According to the meteorological forecast, the daytime air temperature will rise to 20°C inland and on the coasts, and to 11°C in mountainous areas.

By evening, variable cloudiness is expected, with possible isolated brief showers, mainly in the west and north. The air temperature will drop to around 9°C in inland areas, 12°C on the coasts, and 6°C in mountainous regions.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, temporary increased cloudiness and local rain are expected.

Over the next three days, the temperature will not change significantly and will fluctuate above the average climatic values.
