Another Heat-Related Fatality in Cyprus: 64-Year-Old Woman Dies from Heat Stroke
Over the weekend, a 64-year-old woman died from heat stroke in Cyprus. Three others are in serious condition in the hospital, with the youngest among them being just 25 years old.
According to the OKYpY Health Service, three new cases of heat stroke were reported over the weekend. The affected individuals, women aged 25, 67, and 80, have been hospitalized at Nicosia General Hospital. Their conditions are critical.
Medical professionals are advising the public to exercise extra caution due to the intense heat currently affecting Cyprus. The high temperatures in recent days have led to an increase in cases of heat exhaustion.
