Pilgrims from Cyprus to Attend Evening Prayer at St. Mamas Church in Morphou
Pilgrims from the Republic of Cyprus will attend evening prayers at St. Mamas Church in Güzelyurt (Morphou). Free buses will provide transportation to the ancient church.
The evening prayers at St. Mamas Church (Ayios Mamas), which is temporarily hosting the recently discovered icon of the village's patron saint, will take place on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
The feast days of the two saints will be celebrated together on September 1.
Transportation to the church will be free for all pilgrims, who will need to show a passport or ID. Bus seats can be reserved until August 30 by calling 99785964 in Nicosia, 99856329 in Larnaca, or 99688993 in Limassol.
