18-Year-Old Arrested in Fire Extinguisher Robbery Case
Limassol police have arrested one of the suspects in a series of robberies involving motorcyclists and a fire extinguisher. The 18-year-old has already confessed to the crimes.
According to TAE Limassol, the suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon. The detainee admitted to participating in a series of attacks on motorcyclists that occurred earlier this week.
To recap, three attacks on motorcyclists took place on Tuesday night. Preliminary reports indicate that four young men in dark clothing approached their victims on two motorcycles, sprayed them in the face with a fire extinguisher, and then stole their vehicles and valuables. In the first two cases, the victims were food delivery drivers, while in the third case, a 39-year-old cyclist was targeted.
Earlier, a 19-year-old was also arrested in connection with this case. Yesterday, a court ordered him to be held in custody for six days.
