Police Investigate Stabbing Incident in Central Nicosia
Cyprus police are investigating an attempted murder after two individuals were stabbed in a park in the city center on Monday evening.
According to a statement from the police press office, the attack took place shortly before 7:00 PM. An unidentified assailant stabbed a 24-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy.
The 24-year-old victim sustained a stab wound to the chest and was intubated in the intensive care unit at Nicosia General Hospital due to the critical nature of his injuries.
The 16-year-old suffered stab wounds to his back and leg. He is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, where his condition is reported as stable.
The Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department is actively handling the case.
