After noon on February 20th, isolated showers are expected in the mountains in Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Tuesday, February 20th, the region is still under the influence of weak low pressure.

Today in the first half of the day, the weather will be predominantly clear, but cloudiness will gradually increase, leading to isolated showers after noon, mainly in the mountains. Wet snow is possible on the highest peaks of Troodos.

The wind will initially be south-east to south-west, weak. According to the meteorological forecast, the air temperature during the day will reach up to 19°C in the inland areas and on the coast, and up to 8°C in the mountains.

By the evening, the weather will be predominantly clear, but in coastal areas, cloudiness may temporarily increase in some places, with the possibility of occasional light rain later.

The air temperature will drop to around 7°C in the inland areas, around 8°C along the coast, and around 1°C in the mountainous regions.

Until Friday, the temperature will not change significantly, continuing to fluctuate above the average climatic values for the season.
