Elderly Woman Dies in Hospital After Limassol Traffic Accident
An elderly woman who was injured in a major traffic accident in Limassol has died in the hospital after a week. Despite the doctors' best efforts, they were unable to save her.
The accident, involving four vehicles, occurred at the intersection of Agia Filaxeos and Spyros Kyprianou Avenues in Limassol on Sunday, August 11. Four people were injured in the crash, including the unfortunate 83-year-old Androula Neofitou, who was taken to Limassol General Hospital.
Yesterday afternoon, a week after the accident, the woman passed away in the hospital from her injuries.
The other individuals involved in the accident did not suffer serious injuries.
