Apartment fire in Geroskipou: bedroom damaged

At 11:15, the fire service received a report of a fire in a bedroom of an apartment in Geroskipou (Paphos district). This was reported by Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Ketti.
As a result of the fire, the bedroom and the property inside it sustained serious damage. Firefighters used water hoses and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.
According to Ketti, all residents managed to leave the apartment in time and no one was injured.
Two fully equipped fire engines were dispatched to the scene.
According to a preliminary assessment by the fire service, the cause of the fire may have been careless actions by underage children living in the apartment.
