Parents of Cypriot Schoolchildren Begin Receiving €150 Payments
Starting today, some families with school-aged children in Cyprus have begun receiving a one-time payment of €150. Here's who is eligible for this government support.
According to the newspaper Philenews, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare announced the rollout of the €150 grant as part of a support package for families with students during the 2024-2025 school year.
The grant of €150 per family will be directly deposited into the bank accounts of those eligible for child benefits. Families with at least three children enrolled in preschool (aged 4.5 years or older), primary, secondary, or technical education are eligible.
It has been clarified that this support measure is intended for families whose children attend private schools.
