Since the beginning of the year, over 3 million euros in fines have been collected in Cyprus
During a campaign conducted on Monday by members of the Warrants Enforcement Department of the Nicosia Police Department, a total of 177 warrants for fines were executed. The total amount collected exceeded 95,400 euros.
In total, from the beginning of the year until today, the police issued 18,791 fines across Cyprus, from which a sum of 3,293,685 euros has been collected.
The executed warrants pertain to various categories of debts, such as fines for traffic violations and criminal offenses, debts to social security and municipalities, as well as alimony.
