Cyprus supermarkets undergo intensified inspections ahead of the holidays

Ahead of the New Year, Cyprus sanitary services have strengthened control over products in large retail chains. Inspections are being carried out in supermarkets across the country due to the traditional increase in consumer demand.
During inspections, special attention is paid to storage conditions of goods, cleanliness of premises, and compliance with sanitary standards. According to the Ministry of Health, no serious violations have been identified: stores generally operate within requirements, and minor remarks are addressed on site. In some cases, products were removed from shelves for preventive purposes.
The intensified inspections will continue.
