Temperature to Rise to 45°C, Rain Expected in the Mountains: Weather in Cyprus for June 14
According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, a warm air mass will affect the region on Friday, June 14. Starting tomorrow, it will gradually begin to retreat, and dust will occasionally linger in the atmosphere.
Today, the weather will be mostly clear and very hot in the first half of the day, with low clouds possibly increasing along the coasts in some areas. In the afternoon, isolated short-term rain is possible in the mountains.
According to the meteorological service forecast, today's air temperature will rise to 45°C in inland areas, 36°C on the southern, eastern, and northern coasts, 34°C on the western coast, and 35°C in the mountainous areas.
In the evening, the weather will remain predominantly clear, but local fog may form later. The air temperature will drop to 25°C inland and along the coasts, and to 23°C in the mountainous areas.
By Monday, the air temperature is expected to gradually decrease significantly but will remain above average climatic values.
