A homemade bomb exploded at the doors of a nightclub in Paralimni
Another explosive device went off last night in Cyprus. This time, the bomb detonated in the Pernera area of Paralimni.
According to local media reports, the explosion occurred in the building around two o'clock in the morning. The police suspect that a homemade explosive device was placed outside the building's door. As a result of the explosion, the glass entrance door of the building was damaged.
It is reported that the premises, where the bomb exploded at the doors, house a bar and a nightclub. Preliminary information suggests that there were no casualties or injuries, as the entertainment venue was closed at that time, as the club only operates during the summer.
Police officers have arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and are conducting an inspection. As part of the investigation, surveillance camera footage in the area will be reviewed to determine the type of explosive device and who exactly planted the bomb.
