A Student at a Cypriot School Gave Away 15,000 Euros to Classmates
In one of the secondary schools in Nicosia, a student brought 15,000 euros in cash to class and distributed it among his classmates. Some received substantial amounts, while others got smaller denominations.
The incident, which reportedly occurred at the end of last week, was covered by the media. It has been confirmed that the boy’s father reported the matter to the Strovolos police station. The Ministry of Education has also been notified and is conducting its own investigation.
Both parents and teachers are deeply concerned, and the school’s administration has requested that the students who received money return it immediately. However, some students have already spent the cash, according to reports.
The details of the unusual event are still being clarified, and the police have yet to comment on the situation.
