In the morning – clear, in the evening – rain and frost: Cyprus weather on January 15th

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Monday, January 15th, the region is under the influence of weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half of the day, the weather will be clear in most regions; however, locally increased cloudiness and rain are expected in the west and north.

Gradually, variable cloudiness will set in, with occasional light rain, mainly in the northeast, and towards the evening in the west.

According to the meteorological forecast, daytime temperatures today will reach up to 17°C in the inland areas and on the northern coast, around 19°C on the remaining coasts, and down to 7°C in mountainous regions.

By evening and night, variable cloudiness and short-term rain are expected, with possible isolated thunderstorms.

Air temperatures will drop to approximately 7°C in the inland areas, 9°C on the southern and eastern coasts, 11°C on the western and northern coasts, and 2°C in mountainous regions, where local frost is expected.

On Tuesday, temperatures will slightly rise, and until Thursday, significant changes are not expected, with temperatures fluctuating above average climatic values.
