Kitten Rescued After Days Trapped at Larnaca Airport
A kitten that had been trapped for several days at Larnaca Airport was finally rescued thanks to the efforts of a fire rescue team.
According to the Ecological Movement - Civil Cooperation, the kitten had been stuck in a narrow gap between two walls in one of the airport’s terminals for days.
“We reached out to HERMES, the airport’s managing company, and the fire department. They informed us that several attempts had already been made in the previous days to free the kitten, but these had not been successful,” the organization’s statement explained.
Yesterday, the rescue operation continued, and after further coordinated efforts from the airport’s fire department and management team, the kitten was finally freed.
The coordinator of the Ecological Movement - Civil Cooperation action group expressed gratitude to the Larnaca Airport fire department and HERMES for their compassionate response and dedication to saving the distressed animal.
