Three Arrested at Paphos Airport for Attempting to Use Fake Documents
Paphos police have arrested three individuals on suspicion of using forged documents and impersonating others.
According to the police press office, on Monday evening, between 19:30 and 20:00, the three individuals tried to check in separately at Paphos Airport, intending to fly to a European country.
The group consisted of a 30-year-old woman and two 34-year-old men of African descent. They each presented European identity cards, which were later found to be counterfeit.
After their arrest, they admitted to impersonating other people and forging the documents. All three have been taken into custody.
