As part of the "ESTIA" plan, more than 1,500 foreign nationals from five countries are expected to arrive in Cyprus within the next 24 hours, fleeing conflict zones in the Middle East. All evacuated individuals will stay on the island for a few hours before returning to their home countries.

According to the publication "Alphanews," citing official government spokesperson Constantinos Letimiotis, citizens from three countries have already arrived in Cyprus and successfully returned to their respective nations.

Notably, yesterday, 38 citizens of the Republic of Cyprus and 20 Greeks returned from Lebanon on a Greek transport ship, C-130.

Additionally, the Republic of Cyprus has taken steps to organize a charter flight this evening to repatriate other Cypriots and Greeks from Lebanon. If necessary, Cyprus is prepared to accommodate up to 7,000 people this evening.

Earlier reports indicated that the U.S., U.K., and Belgium had sent troops to Cyprus to assist in the evacuation of their citizens from Lebanon following the escalation of the conflict in the region.
