Another Suspect Arrested in Fake Marriage Scandal in Cyprus
Authorities have arrested another suspect in connection with the ongoing investigation into fake marriages in the municipality of Aradippou, Cyprus. A 39-year-old Pakistani man was apprehended in Germany.
According to the police press office, the suspect was brought to Cyprus early this morning, escorted by Cypriot police officers. He is expected to appear in court today for an arrest warrant hearing.
This individual is the fourth person to be arrested in the high-profile case.
Earlier, during the investigation, Larnaca police arrested a 25-year-old man, who is currently in custody.
Additionally, two other suspects—a 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman—were arrested earlier and are also being held in detention.
