In the Troodos Mountains, trails that were closed due to landslides and snowfall have reopened
Tourist trails in the Troodos National Forest Park in Cyprus have been reopened. Earlier, access to them was restricted due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The Department of Forestry of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Cyprus reported that the natural hiking trails of the Troodos National Forest Park, which were closed due to severe erosion, landslides, and snowfall, are now open and available for visitors.
The following natural trails are mentioned:
- Meadow Path (circular), adapted for wheelchairs
- Artemis Trail (circular)
- Atalanti Trail (circular)
- Persephone Trail (linear)
- Caledonia Trail (linear)
- Psilo Dentro – Puziaris Trail (circular)
- Kato Amiantos – Lumata to Etas Trail (linear)
- Meadow Plain Trail (circular)
- Bishop's Monuments Trail (linear)
- Kannoures – Agios Nikolaos Stegis Path (Kakopetria) (linear)
- Prodromos Dam – Stavroulia Trail (linear)
- Prodromos-Zumis Path (linear)
- E4 Path (Troodos region)
